How to configure scrapping service ?

Proxy Service Configuration in AMS Amazon Plugin

This guide helps you configure ScraperAPI / ScrapingAnt / Decodo proxy services to enhance your scraping functionality.

Proxy Service-1: Configure ScraperApi API account:

  1. Create a free scraperapi account:
    • Visit ScraperAPI and sign up for a free account.
    • You will receive 1,000 API calls per month for free.
  2. Log in to ScraperApi:
    • After you create a ScraperApi account, log in to the dashboard and copy the API key.
  3. Configure in the AMS Plugin:
    • Log in to the AMS plugin, navigate to the Settings in the top menu, and open the Configuration page.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration page and locate the Proxy Service Configuration section.
    • Enable both ScraperApi options:
      • Import Products: Enable/disable product imports.
      • Update Products: Enable/disable updating existing products.
    • Paste the API key into the API key field.
    • Scroll down and click Save Settings.
  4. Test the API Connection:
    • After saving the API key, a Test button will appear. Press this button to check if the service responds successfully. Wait for the response to confirm whether the connection was successful.

 

Proxy Service-2: Configure Decodo API account:

  1. Create a free Decodo account:
    • Go to Decodo and sign up for a free account.
    • You will receive limited free API credits each month (check your dashboard for the exact quota).
  2. Log in to Decodo:
    • After creating your account, log in to the dashboard and copy your unique API key.
  3. Configure in the AMS Plugin:
    • Log in to the AMS plugin, navigate to the Settings in the top menu, and open the Configuration page.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration page and locate the Proxy Service Configuration section.
    • Enable both Decodo options:
      • Import Products: Enable/disable product imports.
      • Update Products: Enable/disable updating existing products.
    • Paste the API key into the API key field.
    • Scroll down and click Save Settings.
  4. Test the API Connection:
    • After saving the API key, a Test button will appear. Press this button to check if the service responds successfully. Wait for the response to confirm whether the connection was successful.

Proxy Service-3: Configure ScrapingAnt API account:

  1. Create a free ScrapingAnt account:
    • Go to ScrapingAnt and sign up for a free account.
    • You will receive 10,000 API calls per month for free.
  2. Log in to ScrapingAnt:
    • After you create a ScrapingAnt account, log in to the dashboard and copy the API key.
  3. Configure in the AMS Plugin:
    • Log in to the AMS plugin, navigate to the Settings in the top menu, and open the Configuration page.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration page and locate the Proxy Service Configuration section.
    • Enable both ScrapingAnt options:
      • Import Products: Enable/disable product imports.
      • Update Products: Enable/disable updating existing products.
    • Paste the API key into the API key field.
    • Scroll down and click Save Settings.
  4. Test the API Connection:

Explanation:

All three proxy services — ScraperAPI, ScrapingAnt, and Decodo — offer two options inside the AMS plugin:

  • Import Products – controls product import requests.
  • Update Products – controls updating existing product data.

These options can be enabled or disabled independently for each service.
After saving the API key, the plugin provides a Test button — use this to verify that the proxy connection works correctly. This ensures your setup is active and functional before importing or updating products.
