Updating Transaction Status and Handling Refunds in the Admin Panel
Location
To adjust the status of a deposit transaction, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Admin Side.
- Go to the Left Menu.
- Click on Payments.
- Choose All Transactions.
Editing a Transaction
- Locate the deposit transaction you wish to update.
- Click the Edit button next to it.
Changing Transaction Status
- In the edit view, choose a new status from the dropdown menu. Options include:
- “Refunded”
- “Reversed”
- Other statuses apart from “Complete”
Effects of Changing the Status
- Changing the status to either “Refunded” or “Reversed” will automatically reverse the balance on the user’s side within the system.
Important Note on Real Money Transactions
If the user initially made a deposit using real money through any live payment methods or bank transfers, you will also need to manually process a refund through the respective payment platform you used to receive the payments. The system only reverses the balance within its own interface; it doesn’t interact with external payment systems for refunds.
