Customizing Commission Rates
Within the MLM Levels
section, you can set custom Membership Registration Commission rates as a percentage (%). The commission is calculated based on the price of the membership package purchased by the referred user.
Example
Assuming you set up three commission levels as follows:
- Level 1: 30% Commission
- Level 2: 20% Commission
- Level 3: 10% Commission
If a user at Level 4 purchases a membership package costing $85, the commissions will be distributed as:
- Level 1: Earns 30% of $85, totaling $25.50
- Level 2: Earns 20% of $85, totaling $17
- Level 3: Earns 10% of $85, totaling $8.50
Note: The currency displayed will automatically match your platform’s settings.
Commission Status and Payouts
Commissions are initially recorded in the affiliate wallet with varying statuses depending on the payment status of the membership package:
Active Membership
If the membership package is active, the commission status will be set to In-wallet
, allowing the affiliate to request a withdrawal.
Pending Membership
If the membership package is pending, the commission status will be set to On-hold
. Affiliates won’t be able to withdraw their commission until the admin confirms that the membership package payment is complete.
By following this guide, you’ll be able to successfully set up and manage membership registration commissions within your MLM system.
