Move your site to a new domain or a new hosting: A Quick Guide

Overview

Switching domains? Here’s a quick guide to moving your site seamlessly without losing data.

Steps

Step 1: Uninstall the License

1. Log in to the script Admin Panel.
2. On the left menu, navigate to Useful Links > Add-ons > System License.
3. Click the Uninstall red button, then input your admin password and Codecanyon license key.
4. If you do not have access to the old script admin panel, for processing step 3, you can use this guide to reset the license HERE.

Note: This will not erase any data, it just frees up your license.

Step 2: Transfer Files & Database

1. Copy all the script files from your old domain to the new one.
2. Using PhpMyAdmin on your hosting panel, transfer the database to the new domain.

Step 3: Install the Script on the New Domain

1. Visit your new domain in a browser.
2. Fill in the license key, and email.
3. Fill in the old DataBase details.
4. Run the installation and wait for the finish.
5. Now you can back to admin and log in with the same credentials.
