Import by search (no API)

When to use this

Import by Search (Product Search Without API) lets you find products by Keywords or ASIN and import them. No Amazon API key is required.

Before you search: enable proxy services (required)

For search and import to work reliably (about 95% success), you must enable and configure at least 2 proxy services in the plugin. Several supported services offer free accounts with limited monthly credits—enough to get started.

Where to set proxy:

  1. In the plugin top menu, click Settings.
  2. In the dropdown, click Configuration. The plugin Settings page opens.
  3. On that page, click the Proxy badge (or scroll down) to the Proxy Service Configuration section.
  4. For at least two services (e.g. ScraperAPI, ScrapingAnt, Decodo, Scrape.do, ScrapingBee), enter the API Key, turn on the Import Products toggle for each, and save. Use free-tier accounts if available.

Once at least 2 proxy services are enabled and set, import and update success will be close to 95%.

How to get to the Import by Search page

  1. In the plugin top menu, click Import Without API.
  2. Click Import by Search.

Or from the dashboard: Quick ActionsImport by Search (No API).

Search and import

  1. Optionally set Results Limit (how many results to show) and click Save.
  2. Choose Category (or leave All Categories).
  3. Enter Keywords (product name or search terms) or an ASIN (10-character product code).
  4. Click Search.
  5. When results appear, use the import button on each product card to add it to WooCommerce.

Your searches are saved under Recent Searches; use Clear to remove them.

Without at least 2 proxy services enabled under Settings → Configuration → Proxy Service Configuration, Amazon may block requests and search/import will often fail.
