Import one product by URL (no API)

When to use this

Import by URL lets you add products using the product page address from Amazon. You do not need an Amazon API key. You can paste one or many URLs.

Before you import: enable proxy services (required)

For import and product updates to work reliably (about 95% success), you must enable and configure at least 2 proxy services in the plugin. Several of the supported services offer free accounts with limited monthly credits—that is enough to get started.

Where to set proxy:

  1. In the plugin top menu, click Settings.
  2. In the dropdown, click Configuration. The plugin Settings page opens.
  3. On that page, click the Proxy badge (or scroll down) to the Proxy Service Configuration section.
  4. For at least two services (e.g. ScraperAPI, ScrapingAnt, Decodo, Scrape.do, ScrapingBee), enter the API Key, turn on the Import Products toggle for each, and save. Use free-tier accounts if available.

Once at least 2 proxy services are enabled and set, import and update success will be close to 95%.

How to get to the Import by URL page

  1. In the plugin top menu, click Import Without API.
  2. Click Import by URL.

Or from the dashboard: open Quick Actions and choose Import by URL (No API).

Import one product

  1. On the Product Import by URL page, find the Product URLs box.
  2. Paste one Amazon product URL (for example a link that contains /dp/ and the product code).
  3. Click Import Products (or Import on small screens).
  4. Watch the Import Console and Import Progress for status. When it finishes, the product appears in WooCommerce.

You can paste several URLs, one per line. Use Help or Sample URLs on the page for format examples.

Without at least 2 proxy services enabled under Settings → Configuration → Proxy Service Configuration, Amazon may block requests and imports will often fail.
