What Are Store Categories?

Store Categories organize your products. You can create root categories and subcategories (parent-child). Each category can have a name, image, and description. Products are assigned to one category.

Where You Manage Them

Categories are managed at Marketing → Store → Categories.

How to Get There

  1. Click MarketingStore.
  2. Click Categories in the Store nav bar (or the Categories card in the Store Management Hub).

List Page

The categories table shows:

  • Image – Category thumbnail
  • ID – Category ID
  • Category Name – Display name
  • Parent Category – Parent (or root)
  • Products – Number of products in this category
  • Created Date – When the category was created
  • Actions – Edit, Delete, View products

Filter Bar

Use the filter bar to:

  • Search Categories – Search by name
  • Filter by Parent – All Categories, Root Categories, or a specific parent
  • Clear – Reset filters

A badge shows the total category count.

Adding a Category

  1. Click Add Category.
  2. Enter the category name.
  3. Optionally set a Parent Category for subcategories.
  4. Upload an image if desired.
  5. Click Save or Save & Close.

Category Products Modal

From the list, you can open a modal to see all products in a category. Use the products count or action button to view them. The modal title is Category Products.

Saving

Use Save to stay on the form, or Save & Close to return to the list.

Create categories before adding products. Products require a category. Deleting a category may affect products assigned to it.

Use Refresh to reload the category list. The Root Categories filter shows only top-level categories with no parent.
