How to Reset / Deactivate Your License

When do you need to reset your license?

Your license is bound to one domain at a time. You need to deactivate it if you want to:

  • Move the script to a new domain or server.
  • Install a fresh copy on a different domain.
  • Free the license after removing the script from its current location.

Method 1 — Customer Portal (recommended)

This is the quickest way and does not affect the running script.

  1. Go to our website and open the Customer Portal.
  2. Log in with your purchase credentials.
  3. Find your license card — it shows the product name, purchase code, and the currently activated domain.
  4. Click the Deactivate License button on the license card.
  5. Confirm the deactivation in the prompt.

Once deactivated, the domain binding is removed and the license is free to be activated on a new domain.

The Deactivate License button only appears if the license is currently active and bound to a domain. If no button is shown, the license is already free.

Method 2 — From the admin panel (Un-Install)

Use this method when you are ready to fully uninstall the script from its current location and move it elsewhere.

This action uninstalls the script and redirects to the installation page. Use it only when you intend to move or reinstall. Your site data is not deleted by this action — but you must manually delete the files and database from the old domain afterwards.
  1. Log in to the AffiliatePro admin panel.
  2. Scroll to the very bottom of any admin page.
  3. In the footer, click the version number link (e.g. “Version 15.x.x”) on the right side. This opens the Script Details page.
  4. On the Script Details page, click the Un-Install button.
  5. A confirmation popup opens. Fill in:
    • Admin Password — your current admin account password.
    • Enter License — your purchase/license code. The username field fills automatically after the code is validated.
  6. Click Uninstall. The license is freed and you are redirected to the installation page.

After deactivating — what to do next

Scenario Next steps
Moving to a new domain Transfer your files and database to the new domain, update the database connection settings, then re-enter your license key on the new installation screen and click Install.
Fresh install on a new domain Upload a clean copy of the script to the new domain and activate your license code during the installation process.

After uninstalling from the old domain, delete all script files and the database from that location. Leaving an old installation running on a domain with a freed license can cause security issues.
