When to use this
The Auto Products Update runs on a schedule (via cron). If you want to refresh a single product immediately — for example, to check if the price changed or to re-fetch images after an import issue — you can trigger a manual update from the Auto Products Update console.
How to manually update a product
- In the plugin top menu, click Settings.
- In the dropdown, click Auto Products Update.
- On the right side you see the Product Update Console. It lists all your imported products.
- Find the product you want to update (use the search or scroll the list).
- Click the Update button next to the product.
- The plugin fetches the latest data from Amazon for that product and updates the fields you have enabled under Update Options on the left side.
What gets updated
Only the fields that are toggled on in the Update Options accordion (left column) are updated. For example, if Product Price is on but Product Description is off, only the price is refreshed. To change which fields update, toggle them on the left and click Save Automation Settings first.
If the manual update fails
If the update button shows an error or no data is returned:
- For products imported without API (by URL, Search, Bestsellers): make sure at least 2 proxy services are enabled under Settings → Configuration → Proxy.
- For products imported with the Creators API: check that your API credentials are still valid under Settings → Amazon API Setting.
- Check Settings → View Logs for the exact error message.
