Before you start
The MLM module is inactive by default. Until it is enabled from Add-Ons, the Marketing → MLM menu item does not appear and all MLM settings are inaccessible.
Step 1 — Open Add-Ons
- In the top navigation bar, click Settings.
- From the dropdown, click Add-Ons.
Step 2 — Enable MLM Admin
- Find the card labelled MLM Admin.
- Toggle the checkbox to the active (checked) state.
Once enabled, Marketing → MLM appears in the top navigation bar and the MLM Settings and Levels pages become available.
Step 3 — Enable or disable MLM Vendor (optional)
- Find the card labelled MLM Vendor on the same Add-Ons page.
- Toggle it on if you want vendors to be able to view and adjust MLM commission settings on their own campaigns.
- Leave it off if you want the admin to control all MLM distribution without vendors having access to those settings.
Even when MLM Vendor is off, the admin’s global MLM levels still apply automatically to vendor campaigns. Vendors simply cannot see or change those settings. See the guide MLM for Vendors — Admin-Controlled Distribution for the full details.

After enabling MLM Admin, configure the global status and payout behaviour from Marketing → MLM, then set your per-level commission rates from Marketing → MLM → Levels.
