Scenario 1: SMTP Details Are Configured

  1. Access Global Settings: Log in to the admin panel and head over to global settings.
  2. Navigate to Configuration: From there, proceed to the “Configuration” menu.
  3. Email Settings: Click on “Email Settings” within the Configuration menu.
  4. Update SMTP Details: If needed, you can update your SMTP details here. Usually, a password reset email will be sent based on these settings.

If you find yourself unable to log in and haven’t configured SMTP details, you can manually reset the password as follows:

  3. Find Users Table: Locate the table named “Users” within the database.
  4. Locate Admin User Record: Search for the admin user with an ID of 1.
  5. Edit Password Field: Find the field named “Password.”
  6. Replace Password: Replace the current password hash with 7479305b3e914c467c0cb2eba57b352b58e1ff37.
  7. Log In: Now, you can log in to the admin panel using the reset password: admin2018$.
