Tracking Cookies Overview

Managing how your system tracks user activity is crucial for reliable reporting and fair commission attribution to affiliates. In this section, you’ll learn how to configure your tracking cookies settings.

How to Access Tracking Cookies Settings

  1. Navigation: Open your admin panel and go to the left menu.
  2. Path: Navigate to useful links >> setting >> Tracking Cookies.

Options Available

Here are the options you can set:

Affiliate Tracking Method

  • Use Cookies: This will utilize cookies for tracking affiliate activity.
  • Local Storage: Uses the browser’s local storage to keep track of affiliate links clicked.
  • Cookies + Local Storage: Combines both methods for robust tracking.

To choose your preferred method, simply select it from the dropdown menu.

Cookies Tracker Duration

  • In Days: Specify the lifetime of the tracking cookies. You can set this for up to 365 days.

Block Click Across Browsers

  • Enable/Disable: When enabled, this setting blocks clicks coming from the same PC where one user is logged in as both an affiliate and an admin. This is designed to prevent fraudulent activities.

Important Note

  • If you plan to test the tracking on your own computer, make sure to set the “Block Click Across Browsers” option to Disable. Failing to do so will result in blocking any transactions, making it impossible to test the tracking functionality properly.

After setting your preferences, don’t forget to save the changes to make them effective. This will ensure that your tracking system is tailored to meet your specific needs.
