Currency Overview
The system offers multi-currency support, allowing you to cater to a global audience.
Adding a New Currency
To add a new currency, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the left-hand menu in the admin panel.
- Click on

. - From the dropdown, select
Currency
. - Press the
Add New
button to initiate the process of adding a new currency.
Setting Currency Details
Here’s a breakdown of each field you’ll encounter:
- Currency Title: Select your currency from the drop-down list of available currencies.
- Code: This will auto-display once you select your currency.
- Symbol Left: This too will auto-display upon currency selection.
- Symbol Right: This will automatically display based on the currency you choose.
- Replace Comma Symbol: Here, you can control whether or not to use a comma as a thousand separator.
- Decimal Places: Define the number of decimal places you want to be displayed in the system.
- Value:
- If this is your default currency, set this value to “1”.
- If it’s an additional currency, you will need to set its value relative to your default currency. For example, if your default is USD and you are adding EUR, you would enter the current conversion rate here.
- Status: Enable or disable the currency’s availability within the system.
Press the Save
button to finalize the new currency addition.
Currency Conversion Example (Dollar to Euro)
- If the default currency in your system is set to Dollar, its value will be “1”.
- If you add the Euro as an additional currency and set its value to “0.90”, this means €1 is equal to $0.90 in your system.
- You can also access the currency converter tool by clicking the icon next to the value field.
By following these instructions, you can successfully manage multiple currencies in your system.
